We are pleased to announce the launch of the Accessibility Accelerator | Chapel Haven Schleifer Center | ParatrekUniversal Expedition - USA II. 
Yes, three like-minded organizations, are joining together to go hiking as family with limited barriers.  The ability to go hiking with friends and family is one of those memorable opportunities that we want to make possible for all.

We are mapping hikes they can be accessed and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability.  Starting July 24, we will have  people from various parts of the world with disabilities and without disabilities joining together to hike/trek using team member's respective physical strengths, mental toughness, and diverse abilities as the world is indeed #AccessibleTogether.   
Hiking:
July 24:   Rockefeller State Park – Sleepy Hollow, NY 10AM
July 26 – June 29:   Near New Haven, Connecticut
July 31 NYC Central Park - Meet at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue at 930AM

Why the name Universal? 
Universal: is the vital concept of planning to build, construct, and creating events, schools, work, and technology so that they are usable by a wide range of people, regardless of age, size, or disability status. While universal design promotes access for individuals with disabilities, it also benefits others.
