Abbotsford Running group is for anyone who loves running and would like to improve your speed and strength. Every Thursday night we have coached workouts which will help runners who would like to get stronger and faster while having fun. Expect to work hard but smart at the same time.
Thursday night workouts start 5:30pm (warm-up first with workout commencing at 6.00 PM). The leader is with past national champion and 1991 Sun Run champ Phil Ellis (he has a 28:40 10K and 63 minute half marathon best). This type of running gives you strength and speed to help you run more efficiently and ultimately faster.
The group also meets on Saturday morning for long runs and Tuesday evenings for group runs. Everyone is welcome for these runs and you do not need to sign up for them!!!
We start this session on January 12th at Rotary Stadium and it will help you get ready for any spring race from 10 K to a Marathon.
