Description
Walking has been proven to provide endless health benefits for seniors, including a reduced risk of obesity, heart disease and stroke!
The West Fargo Park District is excited to invite older adults to join us for an active morning starting at Rustad Recreation Center on Thursday, September 19 at 10:00am, for our Fall A Walk in the Park. Onsite Registration will begin at 9:30am.
During this FREE event, participants will have a choice to walk 2.8 miles down our unpaved Loberg Nature Trail or walk 1.5 miles down the paved portion of Loberg Trail to Rivers Bend Park. Both will end back at Rustad Rec Center. After the walk participants can enjoy music and refreshments and a light snack.
All participants that pre-register by September 3 will receive a commemorative t-shirt. After walk ends, refreshments and a light snack will be served.
JOIN US AFTER INSIDE RUSTAD REC CENTER FOR THE FREE "SENIOR EXPO". Visit with local business in the area about important information of what they can help and provide for you. Event will run from 10am-12pm.
