A Run for Justice 

 

We hope you can join the Center for Social Justice at WNEU School of Law on Saturday, April 30th from 12:00am - 4:00pm for our End of Year Celebration Event which recognizes our work to advance justice with our amazing supporters, volunteers, donors/sponsors, and friends.

This year we are starting things off with a family-friendly fundraiser run/walk—a fRUNdraiser, if you will—so  get your loved ones and sneakers ready to go! All money will go to the Center for Social Justice to support its work advancing justice for our community and those in need of free legal services. 

Specifically, this year we are fundraising to create a Center for Social Justice “Justice Bus” that will help us mitigate the social and economic barriers faced by our community’s most marginalized individuals (who are often low income, people of color, people with disabilities, and seniors) by bringing justice out into the community for those who cannot otherwise reach it.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Celebrate!
The Run for Justice and Year End Celebration Event is five events in one: An in-person or virtual 5K, a family-friendly 1 mile walk, a kids' fun run: Dash to the finish Line and a celebratory party. We will have awards, prizes, food, and entertainment (including a live DJ!)
The event will take place at Western New England University in Springfield, MA!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Registration/Check-in: 12 pm
5K Race and 1-Mile Walk: 1 pm
Kids' Fun Run: 1:45 pm
End of Year Celebration: 2pm-4pm
 

Events are happening simultaneously throughout the day.
Register for one, some, or all!
Walk/Run prices will increase after April 17th. Register early!

5K Race/Walk

$25/registrant (April 18 through event day - $35)
$10/WNEU Student (any school) 
$10/children 14 and younger

A 3.2 mile walk/run on the beautiful WNEU campus.Timing chips available (managed by 4RUN3).

1-Mile Family Walk

$25/registrant (April 18 through event day - $35)
$10/WNEU Student (any school)
$10/Children 11-14 (with paid adult)
Children 10 and younger participate free

If a 5K is more than you want to do, join us for a family-friendly 1-Mile walk.

Virtual 5K $25

Kids' Fun Run  $10 

A short and fun race for our youngest supporters (ages 10 and younger)!
*All participants will receive a medal with their registration*
