7TH ANNUAL SCARY SCURRY 5K AND KIDS RACES

Info-Pro Lender Services, Guaranty Closing & Title Services, and Sadoff Iron & Metal Company are excited to announce the 6th Annual Scary Scurry 5K Run/Walk at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. This family-friendly event, benefiting the Fond du Lac Area United Way, encourages all participants to dress in costume for the race!

Bring your families and register your children for the 1/3 mile or 1-mile races that end with a Halloween goodie bag! In addition, there will be LOTS of fun family-friendly and kid activities during the 5k and between race events. Registration fees include chip timing and instant result provided by Tortoise & Hare Race Management (5k and Kids Races), Halloween goodie bags, top runner award medals, and event T-Shirt!

Event Details: The 5K Run/Walk is chip timed event (Tortoise & Hare Race Management) that will begin at 8:30 am with the kids' races following at 10:00 am (1/3 mile immediately followed by 1 mile). There will be Halloween giveaways, snacks and beverages immediately following the race, awards for top runners (by age, gender and overall) and prize drawings for costumes! The entire course is paved - Strollers are encouraged! Please, no pets.

5K awards and costume contest begin at 9:30 am on Oven Island. Immediately after, kids can model their costumes in a costume parade! The Scary Scurry Team will award a prize for the top 3 costumes. At 10:00 am, we'll kick off the kids' races - they are welcome to run in their costumes!

Registration Bag Pickup: Registration bags will be available for pickup the evening before and morning of the race. Please have proof of registration available at pickup.

Virtual Race Option: This year, we will also be offering the Scary Scurry races in person as well as online for virtual participants! Please select the appropriate registration option when you sign up. Registration bags and goodies will still be available to our virtual participants for local pick up in Fond du Lac the evening before and the day of the in person race.
