My loving, joyous, hilarious uncle recently passed after 68 years on this earth. I had the honor of having him in my life for 32 years. He was taken from us far to soon. 
Uncle Mike put up an aggressive fight, against an aggressive cancer. He made it longer than many do, with a grace many lack. 
Our family will forever be missing a piece. But most importantly my cousins, my Aunt, and my father have lost a bit of their hearts. 
I want to dedicate this race to Uncle Mike, the avid runner he was. All proceeds will go to my Aunt to help with whatever they may need with the remaining being donated to Hanson’s Running as requested by him and his family.
