Hello! We are Jessica Meza and Brianna Newell and we are organizing the 9th annual Turkey Day to benefit Love Chapel for our senior project.  As Columbus North cross country runners, we are excited to put on an event involving our passion, running!  This race will take place on Thanksgiving morning and benefit Love Chapel, a local church affiliated organization. This year our goal is to raise $30,000 and 2,000 pounds of food as well as have 400 participants. The canned goods collected will go towards Love Chapel’s food pantry, while registration fees will help Love Chapel provide support in the form of  housing aid, rent, and pharmaceutical assistance to struggling families and individuals in the Columbus area.
