The Bay Area Runners Club's 49th Annual St Patrick's Day Races are presented by Jolt Credit Union.  Repeatedly named by Runners Magazine as one of its Stellar St. Patick's Day races, this year's event is looks forward to once again hitting the streets of Bay City. Registration prices remain low to encourage participation for all at this traditional community event. All race registrations include a cotton blend shirt (for those meeting the registration deadline), race bib and finisher medal. Irish Double participants will receive 2 different finisher medals and a ¼ zip, long-sleeved tech shirt (in place of the standard t-shirt)*. 

*To guarantee a 2022 event shirt (and in the right size), participants MUST register on or before Tuesday, March 1, 2022. We will make extra shirts in an effort to give everyone this year’s shirt.  Please register early to guarantee yours!

The 8K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk and Irish Double (combined 8K and 5K events) will be limited to 2,900 combined 8K Run, 5K Run and 5K Walk entries and 1,100 Irish Double entries (combined 8K & 5K Run). A virtual option has been added by demand for those unable to participate on-site race day.

The Leprechaun Races will be held on the track at Central High School this year starting at 2:00 PM.  There is a 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and 1 mile distance.  The Leprechaun Race is meant to be a fun race for children age 12 and under.  

This year, Bay Area Runners Club has selected Midland County Habitat for Humanity, the Bay Veterans Foundation in Bay City and the Saginaw County Veterans Memorial Plaza Foundation as the primary recipients of charitable donations from this event.

REFUND POLICY  

There will be no refund or transfer of registration fees for this event. Cancellation for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer (including but not limited to ice, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) or other instances which in the Organizer's opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event will not be cause for refund or transfer of any fees.
