44th Annual Middlebury Parks and Recreation Turkey Trot

Mark your calendars for the triumphant return of the 44th annual running of this pre-Thanksgiving event. All participants will receive a special gift and we’ll be giving away turkeys, gift certificates, and much more!

Thanksgiving Bonus:
In addition to the race gift and regular draw prizes we are giving away turkeys and a number of passes/gift certificates to local businesses.   We will have a special prize drawing for 1 male and 1 female 50 years + pre-registered entry.

Awards:
Finisher Medals to ALL and Custom medals to Overall Male and Female race winners in both 5k and 10k. 
Winners also receive a 20 lb turkey!!

Chip Timing:
We will be offering chip timing by New England Timing.   Each athlete will have a timing chip embedded in his/her bib number.  Detailed printouts of results as well as online posting of finish times will be available.

Food Drive:
Bring 2 or more non-perishable food items to donate to the Addison County Food Shelf and you will automatically be entered to win special prizes from a donors' only drawing!

Scenic Course:
This year both 5 km &10km races begin at the new Middlebury Recreation Building on Creek Rd.  and both will be an out & back courses on Creek Rd. following alongside the creek ending right back at the Middlebury Recreation Center.  Both routes are flat and fast!
