Wyoming Park on Third Street in Wyoming, DE (The park will be on your right). Registration opens at 6:00 A.M. Please park along the railroad tracks and walk to the park. Do not park at Hall’s Restaurant. Course: 5K/10K, USATF CERTIFIED course on mostly paved country roads through orchards and scenic countryside. “Kiddie Race” before Stampede. Water will be provided before, during, and after the race.
Early bird price for the 5K run/walk is $40 and 10K is $45 until December 31, 2024; On January 1, 2025, price increases to $45 for the 5K run/walk and $50 for the 10k until July 17, 2025 when on line registration closes. After July 17, 2024, and on race day, price will be $55 for the 5k run/walk and $60 for the 10k. Make checks payable to: DDSR, P.O. Box 1379, Dover, Delaware 19903-1379. On race day, pick up bib and t-shirt at registration table.
$100 cash prize for new 10K or 5K Run course record.
For the 10K & 5K Run Events: Our famous hand-carved buffalo awards go to 1st , 2nd , and 3rd place male & female runners in 5-year age groups, starting at 9 & under through 80 & over.
For the 5K walk event: Our famous hand-carved buffalo awards go to the top 5 male & top 5 female finishers.
R2R Timing will have QR Codes to scan to verify your chip time and finish position. You can pick up your award at the post race party in front of Brown’s Tavern. Please do not ask for your awards early.
All awards are final and will not be mailed to winners.

The post race party will take place at the birthplace of the race...Brown’s Tavern. Music, Beer & Gatorade will be provided at no charge. Food will be available for purchase.
We strongly discourage unofficial entrants (bandits) from competing in our race. Bandits consume scarce resources and can delay or inhibit accurate race results. Unregistered runners, running with dogs and strollers, rollerblading, riding a bicycle, and the wearing of headphones are prohibited on the race course at any time, to ensure runner safety and to comply with liability insurance standards.
