4th Annual Quaker Virtual 5K

This virtual 5K event is fun for all, competitive for some, but ultimately a way to give back to WC Athletics as athletics continue to be a pivotal part in students' lives at Wilmington College. Over 40% of students enrolled at Wilmington College participate in athletic programs!

The Office of Advancement has created this event to raise funds for each individual athletics team based on participation!

Your race times and participation will be recorded virtually from May 29th to June 5th. Once you sign up, you will wait until the week of May 29th to run/walk your 5K. The location of the 5K is your choice, the day you run is your choice within the 29th-5th, and the athletic team you support is also your choice!

You will be able to submit your time via the results web page from May 29th - through June 5th.

In addition to having fun while supporting WC athletic teams, your participation is eligible for prizes to be awarded to 5 winners from this virtual race! We want this to be fun and create friendly competition between our athletic teams and the racers! If you aren't worried about the time you run/walk this 5K, you still have a chance to win awesome prizes by being the "Best Dressed Runner," all you have to do is dress in WC gear and submit a photo using the #QuakerVirtual5K!

• Best Male Time (non-WC Student) 
• Best Female Time (non-WC Student) 
• Best Male Time - WC Student 
• Best Female Time - WC Student 
• Best Dressed in WC Gear shared on Social Media with #QuakerVirtual5K

Cost:

• $35 for alumni, parents, and friends of the college.
• $25 for incoming or current students.

All race participants will receive a free 5K t-shirt! The t-shirts will be delivered by mail after the race concludes, please allow 2 weeks from the end of the race for delivery.
