Race starts at 10:00AM (There is a 2 hour time limit.)

Race Start/ Finish Location: Bluff Creek Drive between McConnell Ave and Village Dr. (Next to Randy Johnson Park Soccer Fields and Tot Lot Playground)

What ages can participate in the 5K race?

All ages can participate in the 5K Race. Children and youth ages 15 and under may register using the discounted rate and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children in strollers are free.

What is the pet policy?

No pets allowed. 

Where do I pick-up my bib?

Packet pick-up will be available Friday, October 28th from 4pm-7pm and Saturday, October 29th from 8am-12pm at The Resort (12852 W Runway Rd, Playa Vista, CA 90094).

Limited race day packet pick-up will be available from 8:30am-9:45am located at the Start line (12775 Millennium Drive, Playa Vista, CA 90094).

Where do I park?

Street parking is available in surrounding neighborhoods. You may also park in the paid Runway parking structure. 

How do I get to and from the race?

We recommend carpooling or using a rideshare service. 

Do you have opportunities to train for the race?

Yes! The Resort in Playa Vista hosts a weekly Wednesday night Run Club at 6:30pm located at Pointe Park. The Resort will also offer group specialty classes to residents of Playa Vista highlighting strength and mobility for runners. If you are interested in a complimentary "Couch to 5K" training program, please email pvresortmanager@contactelevation.com

How can I participate in the Costume Contest?

The costume contest is open to any race participant and we will be giving away several awesome prizes! Further instructions regarding time and location to claim your prize will be given at packet pick-up. 

Do you offer timing chips? 

No, we do not offer timing chips. We will have a Race Clock at the Start/Finish line and will start the timer with the first corral. We recommend you use your own timer for the most accurate tracking. 

Can I get a refund?

Sorry, no refunds. 

Will the race be cancelled due to rain or COVID-19?

The Monster Dash 5K will be held rain or shine. We will follow LA County Guidelines in regards to COVID-19. If there is a mandate of no in-person gatherings or events, the race will be held virtually on October 31st.
