3rd Annual Autastic Extravaganza
Sub-events Details
Autism Acceptance Event
1 in 58 children are diagnosed with Autism in the United States and about 1 in 70 children in NC have an Autism diagnosis. You can do your part to help spread awareness and promote acceptance and inclusion for those with Autism and their families by registering for the Autastic Extravaganza.
The 3rd Annual Autastic Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The Extravaganza will take place on the Babe Ruth Baseball Field with different inflatable games, vendors, popcorn, refreshments, music, face painting, and more.
This event is to increase public awareness, acceptance about the issues related to Autism, advocate for services, provide information about resource help, and support groups/programs while promoting inclusions for those with Autism and other special needs. Proceeds from this event will help fund the Autastic Sensory Recreation and Resource Center and local programs for the Autistic Community. Participation in past events have helped raise funds that provided resource help and supplies to local schools and families. This event will bring both communities together for a day full of fun.
