THE HISTORY:  

• The late Coach Lou Nicoletti, known as Coach Nic, spent over 40 yrs coaching XC & T&F in the State of Delaware, as well as a short time in California. Coach Nic built Delcastle & Sussex Tech into distance running powerhouses with multiple Conference and State Titles. Hundreds of runners are better people because of life lessons taught by Coach Nic.  Coach Lou Nicoletti passed away on April 9, 2020 at the age of 70.  Let's celebrate his life with one of his favorite sayings "Let's just run a poopin' 5k"

 

RACE TIME:  

• 10:00 am start.  Race day registration opens 8:45 am.

RACE ENTRY FEE:   

• $25.00 "Early Bird" 5k Pre-Registration...through 3/26/23 at midnight
• $28.00 "Race Week" 5k Race Registration..through 4/1/23 at 6 pm
• $30.00 "Race Day" 5k Race Registration...8:30 am - 9:45 am on site

• Proceeds to benefit the Sussex Tech Cross Country & Track & Field Teams, as well as the annual Lou Nicoletti Scholarship to be presented to a Senior track & field/xc athlete at the annual end of the year sports awards ceremony.

• Presented to the Male & Female Overall & Master Champions, as well as the top 3 finishers in 8 age groups from 13U - 70+
