2024 Niceville Sunset Stampede 5k Run/Walk

Get your neon gear ready, race day is coming soon! Join us for a fun night glow run to raise funds for the Niceville High School Boys & Girls Cross Country teams. 

New this year: We are adding a 1.5mile fun run/walk in addition to the 5k.  The fun run / walk will start with the 5k and participants will complete just one lap around NWFSC as opposed to two.  No awards will be given for this race, but times will be recorded.

Participants will provided with neon swag bags filled with glow necklaces, bracelets & neon sweatbands to wear as they run around the perimeter of Northwest Florida State College.  Awards will be given for top Overall Male & Female, Masters, and walkers as well as Age-Group Awards.  

Our race is Dog and stroller friendly but it’s dark in some areas…Glow lights on your dog & stroller strongly encouraged!  Shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those who register prior to 7/22/24

Entrants registering after July 23 may not receive the swag if items run out. But we certainly hope not! 

Regular Registration Closes Wed. July 24 at midnight! 

Registration available at early Packet pickup 4:30-6:30

Race-day registration (on-site only): 5:45-7:00pm

Early Pickup: Friday, July 26 4:30-6:30 at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, 1198 E John Sims Parkway, Niceville

Race Day: Saturday, July 27 6:00-7:15 in the baseball parking lot at NWFSC

Event details and schedule: 

Race starts at 7:30pm
In the Northwest Florida State College baseball parking lot. 
Please note!!: The entrance closest to the starting line (the west entrance of campus) will be closed starting at 7:45pm.

Course: The is a two loop course around the college perimeter. Start/Finish in the parking lot. Water stop at 1.5 mile.

Refreshments after the race.

Awards at 9:00 

T-shirts guaranteed for the first 270 registrants, but sizes are only guaranteed for those who registered prior to July 22.
