Event details

The Mountain Goat Run is a 10 Mile Syracuse tradition, open to participants of all ages. We have been conquering the hills of Syracuse for 47 years - bringing our community together each year.

Race Day Schedule: Sunday, May 3, 2026

     8:50  a.m.: Kid's Half Mile Timed Fun Run,   

     9:15 a.m.: 10 Mile Mountain Goat Run, Two-Person Relay  

     9:20 a.m.: Family Pet Walk

     10:00 a.m.: Post Race Party

     11 am:  Awards presentation of top 3 male and female runners.

For alcohol consumption, please bring picture license identification for age validation.

Packet Pick Up and In-Person Registration (ON-LINE only! No paper or cash accepted) will be held at Fleet Feet Sports, 5800 Bridge Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057 on Saturday, May 2: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Race Day Packet Pick Up & Registration (ON-LINE only, CREDIT CARD only),  7 a.m. to  8:45 a.m. in Clinton Square.

ALL premium items will be available ONLY through Race Day; NO EXCEPTIONS.

ALL awards MUST be picked up on Race Day ONLY at Awards Tent (no awards available AFTER 1pm). 

Time Bonus Ribbons for the 10-mile race awarded to women running sub-90, sub-80, or sub-70 minutes and to men running sub-80, sub-70 and sub-60 minutes.
