The 17th Annual ShamRock Run is a charity run benefitting our 2022-2023 Grant Recipient, More Music Foundation which is committed to providing music education programs to at-risk youth and cultivating community through the unifying art of learning to play music. 

The 10K course is for competitive runners, the 5K and Leprechaun Dash for the whole family. The 5K and 10K race routes are both (NEW) USATF certified courses. The Leprechaun Dash will be around the Greenville Street Park walking path. Walking and strollers are welcome for the 5K and the Leprechaun Dash. Orion Racing will professionally manage the finish line and use RFID chip timing to ensure the most accurate finish times possible. A flat screen TV will be on site to provide a live results feed. Results will be emailed to participants at the end of the race.

T-shirts for all registrants and commemorative medals for top finishers of age groups for 5k/10k finishers!

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up will be 3-6 PM at Dragonfly Running Company at 10 LaGrange Street, Newnan, GA, 30263 on March 10th, 2023. If you cannot make early pick up, you will be able to pick up day of at the registration tables.

5K and 10K begin at 8 AM following a warm up led by Orange Theory.

The Leprachuan Dash will begin at 7:30.

Awards to follow finish of 10k. 

Parking is available anywhere downtown. 

The 5K and 10K course are dog and stroller friendly. Please abide by City of Newnan leash laws for your furry friend.
