2024 9th annual Morris Superhero Run - April 13, downtown Morris

The Superhero Run is a 5K - Kids 1K Fun Run/Walk - Virtual Run. Please note that we are no longer hosting the half marathon.  All races will start and finish at the FOE on Washington and Liberty Streets in Nostalgic Downtown Morris, IL. The 5K will start at 9am with the Kids and Anyone 1K immediately after the end of the 5K (approximately 10am). We encourage everyone to come dressed as their favorite Superhero.

This year, GFWC - Morris Woman's Club has teamed up with The Disabled American Veterans, Chief Shabbona Chapter #86

Disabled American Veterans Chief Shabbona Chapter 86 provides services to support veterans in Illinois, including help with filing VA claims for disability compensation, appealing claims decisions, and securing transportation to VA medical appointments. Disabled American Veterans Chief Shabbona Chapter 86 offers free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service.
