Join the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce & Visitor’s Center for the Frosted Mug 5K Run and Frosted Beer Mile Run, an event supporting two fantastic non-profit organizations that benefit our local community!

Kick off the day with a competitive 5K run, followed by the beer mile run! Enjoy specialty snacks, vendors, great music, craft beer and plenty of fun—all included for one low ticket price.

Frosted Beer Mile: $25 (21+ only; proceeds support the AUSA Central Texas Chapter Toy Drive for local military children; not chip-timed)

The first 100 registrants for 5K or bundle will receive guaranteed swag, including a T-shirt, mug, and more! (Note: T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after November 25th, 2024.)

Frosted Beer Mile Run:                                                                                                                                                                                                                         \

A fun, holiday-themed social run for adults 21 and over (not chip-timed).
Participants will drink a 5 oz beer, run 0.25 miles, and repeat this cycle four times. The fastest runner wins bragging rights for an entire year!
Awards for 1st & 2nd place overall, and the Best Costume.
Participants must have a valid ID, and we encourage them to identify a designated driver to ensure everyone's safety.
Beer Mile participants receive beer during the run but no additional swag.

FREE Kids Fun Run: After the Beer Mile, there will be a free run for kids 12 and under—because everyone deserves to be part of the fun! Each runner will get a complete root beer to take home and enjoy.                                                                                                                                   Note: T-shirts are not included in the Kids Run

Event Schedule (Saturday, December 14th, 2024):

8:30 am: Last chance registration and packet pick-up.
9:00 am: Frosted 5K Run/Walk (chip-timed).
10:15 am: Frosted Beer Mile Run (21+ social run, not chip-timed).
Kids Fun Run: Begins right after the adult races.

Packet Pick-Up:

Location: Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, 552 E. FM 2410, Suite B, Harker Heights, TX 76548.
Times: Friday, December 13th, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm or Saturday morning before the race.

Awards:

5K Run: Overall male and female winners, plus top 2 finishers in each age group:12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Beer Mile Run: Best race costume and top 2 fastest participants.
