The 4th Annual 5K for the Cause is here again! 

ADP Augusta is excited to host their fourth annual 5K entitled 5K for the Cause. This 5K is an opportunity for runners to come together and raise funds in an effort to find a cure for and #endAIDS.

The funds raised for this initiative will be donated to the Cycle for the Cause fundraising initiative and Augusta Pride.

The 5K for the Cause will be held on August 12, 2023, at the Historic Augusta Canal Trail in Augusta, Georgia. Join now to take part in this wonderful event!

We couldn’t have done it without all of the amazing participants and volunteers last year or without the generous support of some of our local vendors. Let’s build on that success and invite your friends, family, and colleagues to this year's 5K for the Cause!

5K for the Cause T-shirt 

Event t-shirts will be available to participants who register before August 4, 2023. Selections in certain sizes are limited. T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after August 4th. Sizes include: S,M, L, XL, 2XL, or 3XL.

Timing/Awards/Race Divisions

The 5K will be electronically timed by Run the Tangents Timing.  Awards will be given to the overall top male and female 5K finishers. Top male and female finishers in each age division.  Age divisions are as follows:

• 14 and under
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and over 

Course Description

The run will be at the Historic Augusta Canal Trail, starting across the Lake Olmstead Trailhead Bridge Overlook Bridge. You will travel down the scenic path next to the Augusta Canal.  

Packet Pick-up/Late Registration 

All participants can pick up their race packet on Friday, August 11,2023,  from 5 pm-7 pm at ADP Headquarters. Located at 1 ADP Drive Augusta, GA in the main lobby.  Packets will also be available for pick-up on race day from 7:15 am-7:45 am. Runners can also register at packet pick-up on Friday 5 pm-7 pm, or on race day from 7:15 am-7:45 am.
