The Milton Frech Jr. Potomac Street Mile is an out and back mile course on a flat route in downtown Brunswick, MD.
This race celebrates Brunswick, Maryland's historic downtown and former Police Chief Milton Frech Jr. (Aug. 13, 1964-March 30, 2021) who devoted so much of his professional heart and soul to it. Proceeds will divided equally between: B.E.A.C.O.N, Brunswick Food Bank, Brunswick Heritage Museum, Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Company, Steadman-Keenan American Legion Post 96. These independent non-profits are as important a part of Brunswick's downtown fabric as its businesses and residents, and play such such a crucial role in maintaining our community strength and spirit
