The Hertz Trout Valley Turkey Trot keeps the tradition going in 2024! Join us, as the TTCCA presents the 18th Annual Hertz Trout Valley Turkey Trot benefiting the Cross Country and Track & Field athletes of Cary-Grove High School and the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. Bring the entire family for a pre-feast tradition and enjoy the scenic route thru the historic Trout Valley.
This year’s race will be held on Thursday, November 28th.
Race Day Registration / Packet Pickup – 7:30am
Kids Fun Run – 8:30am
5K Race – 9am
Expanded age divisions this year (14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and older). Medals and a prize will be given to the overall male and female finisher. Medals will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each division. Awards will be available at the Beverage tent following the race.
Returning for 2024, enjoy a post-race beverage courtesy of Phase Three Brewing for our participants of age! While supply lasts, so run fast!
Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable, non-expired food item(s) to support the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
Advance registration is preferred but limited on-site registration will be available inside the Trout Valley Lodge. Race day registration closes at 8:30am and t-shirts are not guaranteed.

Packet Pickup will take place Wednesday, November 27th from 3:00-7:00pm at Galati's Hideaway, located at 800 Feinberg Ct, Cary, IL 60013. If you register on Wednesday (27th), your packet will be available race morning. For those who selected the shipping option, packets will be shipped the week of Thanksgiving.
