The 11th Annual Walk/Run for Hope calls attention to the widespread problem of suicide, while respectfully remembering loved ones lost, and celebrating the resilience of suicide loss survivors and attempt survivors.
#MENTALHEALTHMATTERS
We will have a special remembrance video, and anyone (regardless if they participate in the walk/run) can send a picture of their loved one to be included. Pictures can be sent to preventsuicidemanitowocco@gmail.com with Remembrance Pictures in the subject line. Please include your loved ones name. Dates are optional. Pictures will be accepted only thru September 3rd to allow production of the video. PLEASE NOTE: By providing your loved one's information and picture, you acknowledge that your loved one's information and picture will be shared publicly during the event and via social media relations for Prevent Suicide Manitowoc County for the purpose of remembrance recognition. If social media permission for last year's photos was not granted, or if you are uncertain, please RESUBMIT to be included in all future videos.
7:00 am - 7:45 am Packet pick up, On-site registration and Remembrance
7:45 am - 7:55 am Opening Ceremony
8:00 am - Walk/Run start
Performance-wear t-shirts, new drawstring swag bags, and finisher medals provided!
T-shirts are guaranteed with completed registrations by August 25th and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after that.
