RACE INFO  

  It's all about fun, wellness and testing your teamwork skills against other similar age teams. Since 2011, racers have been pairing up with family members, friends and co-workers to support the fight against pediatric cancer.  Walk, jog or run ~ this race is way more fun than a 5k race!  

  Modeled after the popular TV show, 2 person teams complete a 1.5 mile XC course speckled with fun-filled physical & mental challenge stations every 300 or so yards. Clue cards at each station describe a task that requires the cooperation of both racers (aka, TEAMWORK) utilizing their athletic & problem solving skills to complete, before advancing to the next station. The first teams to arrive at the finish line are declared the winners.   

DETAILS

1. Open for ages 5 to 85 ... walkers, joggers & runners. 

2. 2 person teams (any combination) ... adult/adult, adult/kid or kid/kid.

3. 2 courses ... competitive course for active teams / recreation course for leisure teams. 

4. 60 minutes ... average time to complete the course . 

5. Waves begin every 10 minutes ... kids teams, then adult teams. 

6. 4 medals divisions ... based on grade or age of younger team member.  

      (Grades K-3 / Grades 4-8 / Grades 9 - Age 39 / Ages 40 & older)

 7. Donate 2 pairs of used sneakers for pediatric cancer & receive 2 minutes off your final time.

 8. Sign up to volunteer and race for FREE! 

 9. Spectators are welcome to tag along & cheer on the contestants for FREE!
