Join us for the Run for Your Life, which is a family-friendly Fall run packed with DJ music, games, free goodies, snacks, costume contest, beer, and more!

 

Along the 5k course, you’ll encounter unforgettable themed areas:

👻A Stranger Things zone with eerie Hawkins vibes
👻A scarecrow section straight out of a haunted harvest
👻A black light area with its own surprises

 

🎃Get Fizzy With It food truck will be there too with dirty sodas/energy drinks, fresh squeezed lemonades and create your own apple nachos for purchase! 😋🍏🥤

 

The Run For Your Life 5k will begin at 6:30 will run through the eerie woods of Ruby Grant Park or enjoy the family-friendly 1 Mile Run/Walk or family-friendly 1 Mile Candy Bar Crawl. 

 

The Candy Bar Crawl is not recommended for the faint of stomach or the dental hygiene obsessed.  Here’s how it works:

• Start the race by eating one full candy bar

• Then chow down on another full candy bar every ¼ mile

• Cross the finish line with sticky fingers, a full belly, and legendary bragging rights

 

Bring your chairs and blankets to stay to watch the Nightmare Before Christmas movie outdoors at 7:30pm! 🎥 This is included in your race fee! 

 

This race also has a special element! ❤️ In collaboration with Norman Parks and Recreation, Abbott House is hosting the 3rd Annual Donut Eating Contest at 7:30 p.m. 🍩 Stay after the race for this community event.  One trophy...first responders...endless donuts!  Abbott House Child Advocacy Center in Norman is a safe place for children to share their experiences regarding all types of abuse and neglect, as well as being a witness to a crime or in a drug endangered situation. Warning: The 5k run will be adult-themed and include strobe lights and fog machines. This race is not recommended for people with epilepsy or other sensitivities to light, those with any health conditions, or minors. Please join us for the 1-Mile Run/Walk if you have any concerns.

 

PACKET PICKUP: There will be two pre-race packet pickup locations for this race. BEAT THE RACE DAY RUSH!

Race Day - packets will be available for pick up on race day on site from 5:30-6:15pm ONLY.

A limited number of Norman Holiday Race Series medal hangers will be available for purchase for $35. These medal hangers are customized to this series!  We will track registrations for each race for you.
