Come join the team, kick in a few extra dollars, and have a fun 2.023 mile run around the flats and help the Van Cortlandt Track Club get to our fundraising goal so we can buy a new timing system for our races. We will meet at the Tortoise and Hare statue and do about a lap and a half of the flats as an untimed, no prizes, fun run to help support our races in 2023 and beyond.

Purpose: To raise at least $2,250 towards our new timing system so we can earn the match that three generous anonymous donors have pledged to us. VCTC is looking forward to putting on bigger and better races starting in 2023 and to do so we need a more modern timing system. We have identified the system we want to use but need to raise money to purchase it. 

Where: Van Cortlandt Park, Tortoise & Hare statue, across the street from Lloyd's Carrot Cake

Who: All runners and anyone who wants to support VCTC racesIf the weather doesn't cooperate (and with how this winter has gone so far it could be 60 or it could be -20...) we will make this a virtual event (so pray for good weather!!).
