June 2 Updates: 

Results and Awards for 2024 TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k and Festival of Miles

Check here for race results -- you can find updated results for the Open Mile, the High School Mile, the FitKidz Mile, and the TMC 5k. Results links are to overall and age group. In the TMC 5k, the top three male and female in 5 year age groups 14-and-under through 80+ earn gift cards from The Running Shop. If you earned an age-group award, you can pick it up at The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell Ave) through the end of June.

Souvenir Pickup Through June 30th at The Running Shop

If you have not yet picked up your race goodies, all participants can pick up their souvenirs at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell from June 3 - June 30.  The TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k participants can pick up the blue race shirt. Triple Crown participants can get the blue shirt, the pink Gabe Zimmerman shirt, and the first GZTC medal. There are no shirts for milers.

At this writing, you can choose a technical shirt or cotton shirt, with first-come, first-served in terms of size, style, and texture. Special thanks to the Running Shop for all the help with post-race souvenirs. After the pickup deadline of July 1, 2024, we will donate all leftover race shirts.

I wanted to tell you what a fantastic job you did with this event.  I've run it in previous years when I was a runner and did complete the Triple Crown the first year it was implemented.  The whole atmosphere and ambiance even though yes it was hotter than hell was fun and positive  This year I walked it with my coworkers from the NICU at TMC.  We walk it to commemorate Dr. Elliot who was very dear to us.  Thank you for all the hard work you do for the community-it is certainly appreciated.  Looking forward to next year. Registration is Now Open for the 19th Annual TMC Meet Me Downtown event on Saturday, May 31, 2025

Run or walk the TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k in dynamic Downtown Tucson. Bring the whole family for the free Raising Cane’s Festival of Miles.  You can also sign up here for the 2025 Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown, Tucson's popular 3-race series. Enjoy a night on the town at Arizona's biggest running party in dynamic Downtown Tucson.  

 

Whether you're rolling solo, hanging with friends, or making it a family night out, we've got you covered.  

 

You can do the TMC 5k Night Run/Walk or the Raising Cane's Festival of Miles, including your choice of an Open Mile for all abilities, a Free High School Mile, or a Free FitKidz Mile for all kids 12 and under, and their families.

 

Speedsters can chase after prize money and age-group awards, while the rest of us can soak up the good vibes with live music, children's activities at the Children's Museum, food trucks, and the refreshing Pueblo Vida beer garden.  And don't even think about hitting the hay early -- the sensational after-party at the historic Hotel Congress is not to be missed!

The Small Print: The event will take place rain or shine.  There are no refunds, deferrals, or returns for this event.  Race items will not be mailed to participants, but all remaining shirts and souvenirs will be available for first-come, first-served pickup at The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell) through the end of June 2025. All teams registrations end at midnight May 20, 2025 -- team pricing discount ends on May 20th.  Registrants may transfer their registration to another participant by May 28, 2025.  The original registrant must initiate this transfer, while the new registrant will be asked to pay a $5 transfer fee.  See this page for information on how to manage the transfer process: https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000062921

TMC Meet Me Downtown is an event owned by Run Tucson.  The event was founded by Randy and Tia Accetta 19 years ago to promote Downtown Tucson by providing fitness and social opportunties for all ages and abilities.  The TMC Meet Me Downtown and our other events have provided over $350,000 to local organizations over the years.
