This is the REAL DEAL, 2022! Each of the races in this series offer a certified half marathon route that weave their way around the Texas Hill Country. If you haven't run with us before then you haven't been apart of anything quite like this. It's AWESOME. Whether you are training for a larger race or collecting certifications, this unique series will get you there while satisfying your runderlust spirit.
We want you to have a Texas size experience with out a Texas sized cost. Our bundles cost less in the long run while adding opportunity for more friendly competition. Did we mention there's a bonus series medal?? The venues, vendors, and volunteers truly strive to make our runners feel welcome and at home wherever we go. This Hill Country gem is well-known for its picturesque scenery. It’ll be cold, so count on your half marathon being fast; your 10k being exciting; and your 5K hurting, if you push it the way you should. We welcome you to run, race or walk, and most importantly, to have a blast while you're with us.
This route begins at Anytime Fitness at Canyon Lake and caries you over the river down River Road and back.
There're so much to see or do around this area. After the post race party, you'll have plenty of time to explore New Braunfels, Gruene, or maybe you'll feel close enough to go check out Austin and San Marcos as well. (Shopping anyone?)

Formerly known as Moe’s Better Half Marathon, the torch was passed to ScallyWompus after 33 years, and now it’s up to you to make this old race shiny and new again.
The race begins and ends at the Tanger Outlet Mall, where our usual festivities take place. This not-so-sleepy college town is conveniently located midway from San Antonio and Austin. With downtown San Marcos being just minutes away, there's plenty to do post event, whether you fancy yourself some adult beverages, Tex-Mex cuisine, live music, or all-around good times.

Fredericksburg lies about an hour or so northwest of San Antonio, and an hour or so west of Austin. It may be the furthest away but it is the perfect excuse for a little runcation. Wineries, distilleries, and food, OH MY!
We’ll start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in the heart of Fredericksburg. Half marathon runners will run to the famous Crapapple Road, which has great views and rolling hills in one large loop. Participants will return there, and be close to restaurants, clubs, shopping, wine, beer and German-style hospitality.

Hill Country Distillery start area is in the center of town. The race starts in their Courtyard which they share with Newsom Vineyards, The owners of all of these downtown busiesss from restored 100+ year buildings will greet you as you come in to try out their unique business.
Comfort, Texas, is a Hill Country gem. The small, historic town occupies a central location with scenic drives leading to Fredericksburg, Boerne, and Kerrville. San Antonio is only 30 minutes away. Comfort is the perfect nucleus of all the beautiful Hill Country has to offer. The town features almost 100 historic building constructed before 1910, seven of which were designed by noted architect Alfred Giles. Much of the town is designated a National Historic District. Runners love this area for it’s rolling hills and river access to Cypress Creek and the Guadalupe River. Shady streets and low water crossing so that you can reach out and touch the river.

For each race you get a tech shirt, finisher medal, and awards 1st to 4th in 5 year increments for the 5k, 10k and 13.1 races. For series sign ups you get a bonus series medal.
***NOTE ABOUT SIGN UP CHANGES
If you sign up for the series and want to switch once from the 5k to the half or any combination we will switch you for free once for each event. (After that it is a $10 switch fee) You can also switch to a virtual option if you can not make it to the race. If you can not make a certain race you can do the race virtually. We know you can not be everywhere all of the time so that finish will count towards getting the over all medal.

If you are 16 or younger, or 70 and over you get an automatic 50% discount. Please do not attempt to use an additional discount code or your entry will be disqualified.

last minute sign ups within a week of the first races may not be guaranteed a shirt size buy race day but THEY CAN be ordered.
