This 5k will start and finish at Kirkwood Park and go through the streets of Kirkwood which was a place that meant a lot to Janeann Taubel. Her and her wife Julie and their 5 kids combined built a home in Kirkwood in hopes of completing their dreams of building a life and family together.  Janeann was taken away from us all way too soon on January 20,2022 after a heroic two-year battle with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She is a 5x Ironman Triathlete and had a deep passion for running. There is no better way to honor her life than completing a race in her name.
