A Benefit Run/Walk for Angel Flight West

Join us to run for a cause that matters! Funds raised support Angel Flight West and the passengers served through the gift of flight.

In-person race at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport: Saturday, September 28th at 8:30 a.m. (start time). Come enjoy the experience of running on a flat runway with an amazing view! In-person participants will receive a t-shirt and pin.

Virtual race start time: Saturday, September 28th at 8:30 a.m. Your time needs to be submitted by October 5th at 11:59 p.m. MST. Virtual participants will receive a pin in the mail but no t-shirt.

Virtual FLY-K: Fly the pattern while getting your required takeoffs and landings! Fly between September 28th and October 5th and tag us on social media with @angelflightwest and #RunAngelRun2024. View the flight pattern here! 

What is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that eliminates large gatherings and follows social distancing guidelines. It can be run (or walked) in any location you choose, whether in your own neighborhood, on your treadmill, or in the hallways of any venue you can imagine. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself, any time between 09/28/2024 8:30 am and 10/05/2024 11:59 pm. You will upload your time and be placed in the virtual race standings based on your age. Please note that this year, we will not be mailing out t-shirts to virtual participants.

Cost:
Adults: $40 (in person), $25 (virtual)
Kids 5K (under 13 years old): $10 (in person and virtual)
Kids Fun Run: Free! 
Seniors (over 60): $25 (in person and virtual)

In-Person Registrants that sign up by September 4th will receive a shirt in their chosen size and a flight pin with the year of the race. If you register after September 4th, you are only guaranteed to receive a flight pin by race day due to production time needed for the shirts.
