Come join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience on April 8, 2024 in Rochester, NY (Mendon) that promises to be unlike any 5K you've ever run before. The highly-anticipated Solar Eclipse will be directly overhead at 3:20 pm and will last for an astounding 3 minutes and 38 seconds. With between 375,000-500,000 visitors expected to flock to the City of Rochester for this unique event, we are thrilled to offer the Moon Shadow 5K at two different start times.

• For those who want to experience the Solar Eclipse before the race, we will have a 3:25 pm start time.
• Alternatively, for those who prefer to run ahead of the eclipse, we will have a 2:00 pm start time.
• We have also added a Sunday April 7th Moon Shadow 5K that will start at 3pm. Mendon Pub Crawl from 4pm-10pm

All events will take place on the picturesque Lehigh Valley Trail in Mendon, NY, and will have a cap of 350 participants each. We anticipate high demand for these events, so be sure to register today to secure your spot. Additionally, there will be plenty of pre-race and post-race activities for everyone to enjoy. Please note that although this event falls on a Monday, many schools and businesses will be closed, making it feel like a Sunday. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to join us for a running event that will "eclipse" all other Willow Running events.

All participants will receive a custom Moon Shadow 5K shirt to commemorate this amazing day as well as a custom finisher medal once you cross the finish line.
