We welcome all ability levels to this program! No experience is needed! Our first meeting date is Friday, March 8th. The Run Club will meet from 3:30-4:15 on Fridays. The conclusion of the program will be the "26th Mile" event at the Flying Pig on May 4th. Practice each week will follow a similar structure. We will focus on running during the first 30 minutes of practice. The final 15 minutes will include education on topics such as goal-setting, stretching, the importance of hydration/nutrition/fueling our bodies, teamwork, etc. This program is designed to train our team for the "26th Mile" of the Flying Pig Marathon. This event will be held on Saturday, May 4th. It is a one-mile run that will take place on the final mile of the Flying Pig Marathon race course. This portion of the program is completely optional but we guarantee that it will be so much fun!
