YOUR IMPACT
We are the movement. We are the hope. We are the future.
The American Cancer Society believes that all people deserve a fair and just opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from breast cancer. The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has been an integral part of our community for the last 26 years. This event celebrates survivors and thrivers, and raises funds for lifesaving breast cancer research, advocacy, programs, and services. Thanks in large part to decades of work and the dollars our community so generously donates, a breast cancer diagnosis does not come without hope, and the breast cancer journey is not one that has to be traveled alone.
Driven by hope, we continue to fight on and can’t wait to join forces with you once again as we work towards a world free of breast cancer. Join your community in saving lives, remembering loved ones, and funding the future of breast cancer research and programs by joining the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement.
With your support, we can continue our fight to provide more services, more research, and more hope to those who need it the most. Here are just a few ways your support is bringing hope to our community.
ACS is currently investing $78.1 million in breast cancer-specific research through 160 grants (as of January 2023).
Since 1993, the American Cancer Society has invested more than $600 million in breast cancer research.
Thank you for all you do for so many affected by breast cancer. If you have any questions at all, please reach out us any time!
