The Future of Motorsports
The Kokomo Quarter Midget Club is a paved oval track that dates back to the 1950's,when it was located on West Morgan Street near the Kokomo Speedway. Many drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Jason Leffler, Bobby East Bryan Clauson, and Bobby East, started their careers here and extending their careers under USAC's banner, as well as NASCAR and INDY Car Racing!
There are many people that gather together each race weekend to keep the track going. As like many things in life we say it takes a community or village to keep it going. However, we need more than those that show up to race to keep it growing. We need people like you reading about the track today to invest in the youth of tomorrows racing! People like Justin Haley, local Hoosier, currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing understands that the future in racing belongs to the youth, for this reason he donates one of his helmets each year to the track.
The track is now located 3½ miles east of State Road 931 off Sycamore Road then left on Hillsdale Road approximately ½ mile (150 N. 350E.).
