Discovery Elementary PTA Color Run

Discovery Elementary PTA is having a community Color Run! 👟👟

COME OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN! 

If you sign up by April 29th there are options to purchase a T-shirt to use for the race, Race kits, and Extra Chalk Powder Packs. Anyone who signs up by May 12th will receive a complimentary cup of chalk powder to throw up at the beginning of the run for our color throw. You may sign up on site the day of the race however; we cannot guarantee any chalk powder. 

Color Run ( Approx. 1 Mile)  will be held on Saturday May 20th @ Davis Park just North of Discovery School. We will line up starting @ 1:45 pm and hold a color throw and let the run begin.  The run will go around the block of Discovery Elementary.  We will start promptly at 2 pm. Check-in and Registration will take place from 1-1:45pm. All ages are welcome, anyone under the age of 12 will need to have an adult with them at the event. 

The Color Run will be an excellent way for parents, students, and community members to come together and support this local school PTA.  It will provide a fun and engaging way to raise funds while promoting healthy activity and community involvement.

The Funds raised will go to our PTA for the year 2023-2024. The PTA funds are a huge support to our students. PTA funds go to school Field Trips and the buses they use to transport them there. The PTA provides equipment the school may need like purchasing air conditioners for each of the classrooms. They help provide more outdoor play equipment and other items the school may need. Funds are used for teacher and staff appreciation, activities like the school carnivals, spirit week, Dolphins and Donuts, Candy Bomber candy... and so much more.  The PTA could not do what they do without your support.
